Statement on Continued Processing of Concealed Weapons Licenses

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and its Division of Licensing are responsible for the processing of applications for and issuance of concealed weapons licenses.

This past weekend, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) was delayed in transmitting criminal history data to the Division of Licensing during the implementation of FDLE’s new criminal history system.
