Plantation Man Claims $1 Million Prize In The Florida 100X The Cash Scratch-Off Game

The Florida Lottery announces that Gary Wall, 52, of Plantation, claimed a $1 million prize in the new FLORIDA 100X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $770,000.00.

Wall purchased his winning ticket from Publix, located at 6921 West Broward Boulevard in Plantation. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The new $30 game, FLORIDA 100X THE CASH, launched on February 26, and features eight top prizes of $15 million – the largest Scratch-Off top prize ever offered by the Florida Lottery. The game also offers 20 prizes of $1 million. Overall odds of winning are one-in-2.59.

Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, generating more than $784 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2016-17, and comprising approximately 68 percent of ticket sales.

The Florida Lottery’s Summer EZmatch™ Promotion Begins Today

Temperatures are rising and so are instant cash prize amounts! For a limited time only, Florida Lottery players who add EZmatch to their FANTASY 5®, LUCKY MONEY™ and FLORIDA LOTTO® purchases can instantly win higher cash prizes of up to $1,000.

Beginning today, through Sunday, July 29, 2018, the EZmatch top prize will double from $500 to $1,000 and the second prize from $250 to $500.  EZmatch players will also enjoy an increased minimum prize of $5, up from $2.

For an additional $1 per play, the EZmatch add-on feature gives players of these games the opportunity to win cash prizes instantly. When players add EZmatch to their FANTASY 5, LUCKY MONEY or FLORIDA LOTTO purchase, multiple EZmatch numbers and instant prize amounts will be printed on the ticket. If any of the EZmatch numbers match any of the player’s numbers on the ticket, the player instantly wins the prize amount shown. Players can multiple times on a single ticket.

All EZmatch prizes of less than $600 are redeemable at any Florida Lottery retail location. Prizes of $600 or more must be claimed at a Florida Lottery District Office. If an EZmatch prize is paid by a retailer before the applicable FANTASY 5, LUCKY MONEY, or FLORIDA LOTTO drawing on the ticket has occurred, a continuation ticket will be provided to the player.  EZmatch prizes can be claimed up to 180 days after the first draw date on the ticket. Barrows purchased his winning ticket from Star Food Mart, located at 8078 South Sun Coast Boulevard in Homosassa. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $5 game, POWER 5’S, features more than $59 million in cash prizes, including ten top prizes of $250,000! Overall odds of winning are one-in-4.03.

Win up to $30,000 instantly with MONEY BAGS! This $2 game features over $32.7 million in prizes, including ten top prizes of $30,000. Overall odds of winning are one-in-4.36.

For just $1, players can win up to $5,000 with DICE DOUBLER. There are more than four million winning tickets totaling over $12.5 million in cash prizes! The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.87.

St. Augustine woman claims top prize in new FLORIDA 20X THE CASH Scratch-Off game

The Florida Lottery announces that Felicia Carswell, 52, of St. Augustine, claimed a $1 million top prize in the FLORIDA 20X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $770,000.00.

Carswell purchased her winning ticket from Shell, located at 216 South Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The new $5 game, FLORIDA 20X THE CASH, launched on January 15, and features 14 top prizes of $1 million, and more than $110 million in cash prizes. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.22.

POWERBALL® jackpot climbs to $306 million

More Than $21 Million Generated For Education in Florida

The jackpot for Saturday’s POWERBALL® drawing has climbed to an estimated $306 million; the largest in the nation. The POWERBALL jackpot has rolled 17 times since the March 21, 2018, drawing, generating more than $21.1 million in contributions to the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).

POWERBALL jackpots start at $40 million and roll until the jackpot is won. Players win by matching the five white ball numbers (1-69) and the red POWERBALL (1-26). The overall odds of winning a prize in the game are approximately one-in-24.87.

Panama City Beach woman claims $4 million MEGA MILLIONS® prize

The Florida Lottery announces that Waleska Fernandez, 55, of Panama City Beach, claimed a $4 million MEGA MILLIONS® prize from the drawing held on Friday, May 4, 2018. The winning ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers, but did not match the Mega Ball.

Fernandez purchased her winning ticket at Publix, located at 11240 Panama Beach Parkway in Panama City. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus commission for selling the jackpot-winning ticket. Total ticket sales for this series of MEGA MILLIONS® rollovers generated more than $7.5 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).

Since joining MEGA MILLIONS in 2013, the game has generated more than $294 million for education, and has awarded more than $296 million in prizes to 38.6 million players. The next MEGA MILLIONS drawing will be held Tuesday, May 15, at 11:00 p.m. ET with an estimated $50 million jackpot.
