Miami woman claims top prize in new FLORIDA 20X THE CASH Scratch-Off game

The Florida Lottery announces that Shelia McClendon, 59, of Miami, claimed a $1 million top prize in the FLORIDA 20X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $770,000.00.

McClendon purchased her winning ticket from Ives Dairy Marathon, located at 19760 Northwest 2nd Avenue in Miami. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The new $5 game, FLORIDA 20X THE CASH, launched on January 15, and features 14 top prizes of $1 million, and more than $110 million in cash prizes. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.22.

Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, generating more than $784 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2016-17, and comprising approximately 68 percent of ticket sales.

POWERBALL® jackpot rises to $233 million

More Than $16.1 Million For Education in Florida

The jackpot for Wednesday’s POWERBALL® drawing has risen to an estimated $233 million; the largest in the nation. The POWERBALL jackpot has rolled 14 times since the March 21, 2018, drawing, generating more than $16.1 million in contributions to the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).

In addition to the jackpot, players have eight other ways to win non-jackpot prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million or up to $2 million if the ticket includes Power Play. The integrity of all games is of utmost importance to the Florida Lottery; players are encouraged to sign the back of their tickets at the time of purchase and keep them in a safe place.

POWERBALL jackpots start at $40 million and roll until the jackpot is won. Players win by matching the five white ball numbers (1-69) and the red POWERBALL (1-26). The overall odds of winning a prize in the game are approximately one-in-24.87.

Broward County man claims top prize in $2,000,000 24 KARAT CASH Scratch-Off game

The Florida Lottery announces that Renford Lewis, 55, of Lauderdale Lakes, claimed a $2 million top prize in the $2,000,000 24 KARAT CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,600,000.00.

A frequent Lottery player, Lewis said he plans to use his winnings to help his siblings, his seven children and his nieces and nephews.

He purchased his winning ticket from Sunshine, located at 1601 North State Road 7 in Lauderhill. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

24 KARAT CASH offers four top prizes of $2 million! This $10 game also features more than 152,500 prizes from $100 to $10,000. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-3.57.

The Florida Lottery announces that Robert Hughes, 67, of New Port Richey, claimed a $1 million prize in the new FLORIDA 100X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $770,000.00.

Hughes purchased his winning ticket from 7-Eleven, located at 6315 Rowan Road in New Port Richey. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The Florida Lottery announces that Gem Osceola, 50, of Davie, claimed a $2 million top prize in the new FLORIDA 50X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his prize in a one-time, lump-sum of $1,600,000.

Osceola purchased his winning ticket from Winn Dixie, located at 11290 State Road 84 in Davie. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $10 game, FLORIDA 50X THE CASH, launched on January 15, and gives players the opportunity to multiply their winnings by up to 50 times! The game also offers over $162 million in cash prizes, plus eight $2 million top prizes! Overall odds of winning are one-in-3.46.

The Florida Lottery announces that Nikki Smith, 35, of Orlando, claimed the first $1 million top prize in the new THE PRICE IS RIGHT Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $770,000.00.

Smith already has big plans for her winnings, “The first thing I’m doing is buying a house!”

Smith purchased her winning ticket from Rightway Food Store, located at 5003 Old Winter Garden Road in Orlando. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

Lee County woman claims share of $2 million LUCKY MONEY™ jackpot

The Florida Lottery announces that Mirta Rudolph, of Lehigh Acres, claimed her $1 million share of the $2 million LUCKY MONEY™ jackpot from the April 17, 2018, drawing at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. The other jackpot-winning ticket, sold in Wellington, has not yet been claimed.

Rudolph chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $722,816.40. She purchased her winning ticket from Publix, located at 1324 Homestead Road North in Lehigh Acres. The retailer received a bonus commission of $1,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The next LUCKY MONEY drawing will be held tomorrow, April 27, at 11:15 p.m. ET, with a $650,000 jackpot. The LUCKY MONEY drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state. Winning numbers are available on the Lottery website, at retailers statewide and by phone at (850) 921-PLAY.
