Four new lottery Scratch-Off games offer millions in cash prizes

The Florida Lottery introduces four new Scratch-Off games today that offer more than $176 million in total cash prizes. The games, 24 KARAT CASH, THE PRICE IS RIGHT, NEON 7’S, and $100 IN A FLASH, range in price from $1 to $10. All Lottery retailers are expected to have these new tickets in stock and available for purchase within 72 hours.

24 KARAT CASH offers four top prizes of $2 million! This $10 game also features more than 152,500 prizes from $100 to $10,000. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-3.57.

The $5 game, THE PRICE IS RIGHT, gives players the chance to win up to 22 times on one ticket! The game features more than $59 million in prizes, including six top prizes of $1 million! The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.19.

NEON 7’S offers players the chance to win up to $30,000 instantly! This $2 game features more than five million winning tickets, and overall odds of winning are one-in-4.41.

For just $1, players can win up to $3,000 with $100 IN A FLASH. This game features more than $2.4 million in $100 prizes! The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.97.

Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 68 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $784 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2016-17.

$521 million is up for grabs this weekend with MEGA MILLIONS®

The MEGA MILLIONS® jackpot has continued to roll since January 5, resulting in an estimated $521 million jackpot for the Friday, March 30, drawing. Florida players have a chance to become the state’s third MEGA MILLIONS jackpot winner by purchasing a $2 ticket at any of the more than 13,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

In addition to the jackpot prize, players can win lower-tier prizes ranging from $2 to $5 million by matching any of the non-jackpot-winning combinations. There have been more than one million Florida MEGA MILLIONS winners in this series of rollovers, winning more than $8.6 million in prizes.

Since joining the multi-state MEGA MILLIONS game in 2013, Florida has had more than 39.9 million winning tickets totaling more than $587.3 million in prizes.Additionally, the game has generated more than $363 million for Florida students and schools.

Jackpot prize winners have the option to receive their winnings in 30 annual installments or as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $317.2 million. Jackpot prizes must be claimed within 60 days of the winning jackpot draw to receive the cash option. Winners have 180 days from the applicable drawing to claim their prize.

Tickets must be purchased by 10:00 p.m. ET on Friday to be eligible for the 11:00 p.m. ET drawing. MEGA MILLIONS drawings are broadcast on 17 Lottery carrier stations throughout the state. Cooper City man gets birthday surprise playing $1,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE Scratch-Off game

The Florida Lottery announces that Luis Taborda, of Cooper City, claimed a top prize in the $1,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee three days after celebrating his 57th birthday. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $815,000.00.

Taborda purchased his winning ticket from Marigil Corporation, located at 2315 West 52nd Street in Hialeah. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $2 Scratch-Off game, $1,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE, launched in July and features more than 10 million winning tickets, including eight top prizes of $1,000 a week for life. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.43.

Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, generating more than $784 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2016-17, and comprising approximately 68 percent of ticket sales.

Ozark, Alabama woman claims $8 million FLORIDA LOTTO® jackpot

The Florida Lottery announces that Cassandra Holmes, 57, of Ozark, Alabama, claimed the $8 million FLORIDA LOTTO® jackpot from the drawing held on March 14, 2018, at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

Holmes chose to receive the winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $5,335,428.13. The jackpot-winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased from Fortune Liquors, located at 5878 Highway 231 in Campbellton. The retailer will receive a bonus commission of $50,000 for selling the jackpot-winning FLORIDA LOTTO ticket.

The next FLORIDA LOTTO drawing will be held tomorrow, March 21, 2018, at 11:15 p.m. ET, with a $2.5 million jackpot. FLORIDA LOTTO drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state. Atlantic Beach man claims $1.4 million LUCKY MONEY™ jackpot

The Florida Lottery announces that Alvin Marvin, 59, of Atlantic Beach, claimed the $1.4 million LUCKY MONEY™ jackpot from the March 13, 2018, drawing at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,003,262.96.

Marvin purchased his winning ticket at Publix, located at 630 Atlantic Boulevard in Neptune Beach. The retailer received a bonus commission of $1,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The next LUCKY MONEY drawing will be held tonight, March 20, 2018, at 11:15 p.m. ET, with a $550,000 jackpot. The LUCKY MONEY drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state. The Florida Lottery announces that Tuan Nguyen, 45, of Orlando, claimed a $1 million prize in the new FLORIDA 100X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $770,000.00.

Nguyen purchased his winning ticket from Publix, located at 4250 North Alafaya Trail #148 in Oviedo. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The new $30 game, FLORIDA 100X THE CASH, launched on February 26, and features eight top prizes of $15 million – the largest Scratch-Off top prize ever offered by the Florida Lottery! The game also offers 20 prizes of $1 million. Overall odds of winning are one-in-2.59.

Hawthorne man set for life after claiming top prize in $10,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE Scratch-Off game

The Florida Lottery announces that Calvin Ciociola, 51, of Hawthorne, claimed the second of six top prizes in the 10,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. Ciociola chose to receive the winnings in annual payments of $520,000 for 20 years.

Ciociola purchased his winning ticket from Circle K, located at 1137 State Road 20 in Interlachen. The retailer will receive a $20,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $20 Scratch-Off game, $10,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE, launched in September, and features more than $450 million in total cash prizes and over ten million winning tickets, including six top prizes of $10,000 a week for life! The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-2.97.
