Governor Rick Scott today announced that the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) will be awarding an additional $2.6 million in funding to assist Floridians impacted by the Limerock Wildfire in Eastpoint with the repairing and rebuilding of their homes in Franklin County. Gov. Scott: Unemployment Rate Drops to Lowest Point in over Eleven-and-a-Half Years

Governor Rick Scott today announced that Florida’s unemployment rate dropped to 3.5 percent, the lowest since February 2007, and a decrease of 7.3 percentage points since December 2010; this drop is faster than the national decline of 5.6 percentage points.
