Miami Beach man claims share of $1.4 million LUCKY MONEY™ jackpot

The Florida Lottery announces that Ernesto Montesino, of Miami Beach, claimed his $700,000 share of the $1.4 million LUCKY MONEY™ jackpot from the February 20, 2018, drawing at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. The other jackpot-winning ticket, sold in Lake Wales, was claimed on February 23.

Montesino chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $495,762.75. He purchased his winning LUCKY MONEY Quick Pick ticket from Publix, located at 1920 West Avenue in Miami Beach. The retailer received a bonus commission of $1,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The next LUCKY MONEY drawing will be held tonight, at 11:15 p.m. ET, with a $550,000 jackpot. The LUCKY MONEY drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state. Winning numbers are available on the Lottery website, at retailers statewide and by phone at (850) 921-PLAY.

Polk County man claims share of $1.4 million LUCKY MONEY™ jackpot

The Florida Lottery announces that Roy Leath, 59, of Lake Wales, claimed his $700,000 share of the $1.4 million LUCKY MONEY™ jackpot from the February 20, 2018, drawing at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. The other jackpot-winning ticket, sold in Miami, has not yet been claimed.

Leath chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $495,762.76. He purchased his ticket at Cash Mart, located at 333 South First Street in Lake Wales. The retailer received a bonus commission of $1,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The next LUCKY MONEY drawing will be held tomorrow, February 27, 2018, at 11:15 p.m. ET, with a $550,000 jackpot. The LUCKY MONEY drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state. Pembroke Pines woman claims $10 million FLORIDA LOTTO® jackpot

The Florida Lottery announces that Marie Boucher, 51, of Pembroke Pines, claimed the $10 million FLORIDA LOTTO® jackpot from the drawing held on February 10, 2018, at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

Boucher chose to receive the winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $6,700,750.00. The jackpot-winning FLORIDA LOTTO Quick Pick ticket was purchased from Publix, located at 15729 Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines. The retailer received a bonus commission of $60,000 for selling the jackpot-winning FLORIDA LOTTO ticket.

The next FLORIDA LOTTO drawing will be held tomorrow, February 14, 2018, at 11:15 p.m. ET, with a $2 million jackpot. FLORIDA LOTTO drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state. The Florida Lottery announces that Mao Ni, of Kissimmee, claimed the $550,000 LUCKY MONEY™ jackpot from the January 12, 2018, drawing at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee, two weeks after his 39th birthday.
Ni chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $403,449.10. He purchased his winning LUCKY MONEY Quick Pick ticket from Publix, located at 2338 East Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee. The retailer received a bonus commission of $1,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
The next LUCKY MONEY drawing will be held tonight, January 23, 2018, at 11:15 p.m. ET, with a $650,000 jackpot. The LUCKY MONEY drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state. TALLAHASSEE – Players have plenty to talk about as both multi-state games, MEGA MILLIONS® and POWERBALL®, jackpots continue to climb to a combined total of $547 million! The MEGA MILLIONS jackpot rolled to $247 million after Tuesday night’s drawing, and the POWERBALL jackpot rolled to $300 million after Wednesday night’s drawing.

With large jackpots like these, players are encouraged to sign the back of their tickets at the time of purchase and keep them in a safe place. Players should always check their tickets carefully because even if they don’t win the jackpot, they can still win cash prizes of up to $5 million with MEGA MILLIONS and of up to $2 million with POWERBALL.

POWERBALL jackpots start at $40 million and roll until the jackpot is won. Players win by matching the five white ball numbers (1-69) and the red POWERBALL (1-26). There are eight other ways to win non-jackpot prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million or up to $2 million if the ticket includes Power Play. The overall odds of winning a prize in the game are approximately one-in-24.87.

More Than $14.6 Million For Education in Florida!

The POWERBALL® jackpot for Saturday’s drawing has now reached an estimated $212 million. In addition to the multi-million dollar jackpot, players also have the opportunity to win a variety of lower-tier prizes ranging from $4.00 to $2 million by matching any of the non-jackpot-winning combinations.
“The excitement is growing statewide for Saturday night’s jackpot,” said Florida Lottery Secretary Jim Poppell. “This POWERBALL jackpot is not only exciting and entertaining, it has enabled the Lottery to generate more than $14.6 million in contributions for Florida students and schools.”
As a reminder, players are encouraged to sign the back of their tickets at the time of purchase and keep them in a safe place. Players should also check their tickets carefully because even if they don’t win the jackpot, they can still win cash prizes of up to $2 million.
Jackpot prizes are paid in 30 annual installments or as a one-time, lump-sum payment. Winners have 180 days from the applicable drawing to claim their prize. To receive the cash option of an estimated $133.2 million, jackpot prizes must be claimed within 60 days of the drawing.
Players who want the chance to become Florida’s 13th POWERBALL jackpot winner can purchase tickets at any of the more than 13,000 authorized Florida Lottery retailers across the state. The Florida Lottery would like to remind all players to play responsibly; it only takes one ticket to win. Like all Florida Lottery products, players must be 18 or older to play.
Saturday night’s POWERBALL drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. ET. Tickets must be purchased by 10:00 p.m. ET to be eligible for this drawing. The Florida Lottery announces that Antonio Llampay, 61, of Pompano Beach, claimed his $275,000 share of the $550,000 LUCKY MONEY™ jackpot from the November 21, 2017, drawing at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. The other jackpot-winning ticket, purchased in Pembroke Pines, has not yet been claimed.
Llampay chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $204,551. 71. He purchased his winning LUCKY MONEY Quick Pick ticket from First Coast Energy, located at 1400 North Federal Highway in Pompano Beach. The retailer received a bonus commission of $1,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

Yzaguirre chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $443,799.12. He purchased his winning LUCKY MONEY ticket from Circle K, located at 8299 Silver Star Road in Orlando. The retailer received a bonus commission of $1,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The Florida Lottery announces that Litzy Ruiz, 45, of Pasadena, California, claimed the $750,000 LUCKY MONEY™ jackpot from the October 27, 2017, drawing at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
“I usually don’t play the Lottery at home in California, but I decided to purchase a LUCKY MONEY ticket while visiting family in Miami,” Ruiz explained. “Winning this incredible jackpot is definitely a good excuse to extend my time in Florida!”
Ruiz chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $552,594.30. She purchased her winning LUCKY MONEY ticket from Publix, located at 8680 Southwest 24th Street in Miami. The retailer received a bonus commission of $1,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The Florida Lottery announces that Carolyn Morris, 70, of Ponte Vedra, claimed her $325,000 share of the $650,000 LUCKY MONEY™ jackpot from the August 11, 2017, drawing at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. The other jackpot-winning ticket, purchased in Zephyrhills, was claimed on August 14, 2017.
Morris chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $245,390.97. She purchased her winning LUCKY MONEY Quick Pick ticket from Gate, located at 10970 U.S. Highway 1 North in Ponte Vedra.
Total ticket sales for this LUCKY MONEY jackpot generated more than $746,000 for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
