Florida Health Care Association and LeadingAge Florida will host a Nursing Center Emergency Preparedness Summit this Friday, September 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The summit will discuss the governor’s emergency rule regarding the safety of nursing center residents during natural disasters. Speakers at the summit will address recent proposals to equip nursing centers with generators, including technical issues, implementation, regulatory requirements, and funding sources.
