In order to maximize public input and Commissioner participation, the Constitution Revision Commission (CRC) has re-located its public hearing scheduled for Wednesday, April 12 to be held at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) in Tallahassee. The hearing will begin at 5:00 p.m.
The April 12 public hearing was originally scheduled to be held in Escambia County. The CRC will re-schedule a public hearing to be held in the Florida Panhandle in the upcoming weeks. ABOUT THE FLORIDA CONSTITUTION REVISION COMMISSION (CRC)
Once every twenty years, Florida’s Constitution provides for the creation of a thirty-seven member revision commission for the purpose of reviewing Florida’s Constitution and proposing changes for voter consideration. The Constitution Revision Commission (CRC) meets for approximately one year, traveling the State of Florida, identifying issues, performing research, and possibly recommending changes to the Constitution.
