The Florida Lottery announces that Armando Acuña, 26, of Miami, claimed a $500,000 top prize in the $500,000 GOLD RUSH DOUBLER Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He purchased his winning ticket from Downtown Market Store, located at 241 East Flagler Street in Miami.

The $5 Scratch-Off game, $500,000 GOLD RUSH DOUBLER, features more than $182.8 million in prizes, including 44 top prizes of $500,000. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.23.

Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, generating more than $784 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2016-17, and comprising approximately 68 percent of ticket sales.

Orlando woman claims first top prize in new THE PRICE IS RIGHT Scratch-Off game

The Florida Lottery announces that Nikki Smith, 35, of Orlando, claimed the first $1 million top prize in the new THE PRICE IS RIGHT Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $770,000.00.

Smith already has big plans for her winnings, “The first thing I’m doing is buying a house!”

Smith purchased her winning ticket from Rightway Food Store, located at 5003 Old Winter Garden Road in Orlando. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $5 game, THE PRICE IS RIGHT, launched on April 19, 2018 and features more than $59 million in prizes, including six top prizes of $1 million! The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.19.

Clermont man claims top prize in new FLORIDA 20X THE CASH Scratch-Off game

The Florida Lottery announces that Timothy Strickland, 51, of Clermont, claimed a $1 million top prize in the FLORIDA 20X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $770,000.00.

Strickland purchased his winning ticket from Sunoco Food Mart, located at 1102 West Broad Street in Groveland. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The new $5 game, FLORIDA 20X THE CASH, launched on January 15, and features 14 top prizes of $1 million, and more than $110 million in cash prizes. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.22.

The Florida Lottery announces that Jason Spero, 47, of Pensacola, claimed a top prize in the $1,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $815,000.00.

Spero purchased his winning ticket from Circle T Food Store, located at 522 Northeast 3rd Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $2 Scratch-Off game, $1,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE, launched in July 2017, and features more than 10 million winning tickets, including eight top prizes of $1,000 a week for life. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-4.43.

The Florida Lottery announces that Douglas Edwards, 51, of Cartersville, Georgia, claimed the first $2 million top prize in the $2,000,000 24 KARAT CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,600,000.00.

Edwards said he still doesn’t know what he wants to do with his winnings, “I just know I have to be at work tomorrow morning!”

Edwards purchased his winning ticket while on vacation from 7-Eleven located at 890 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

24 KARAT CASH offers four top prizes of $2 million! This $10 game also features more than 152,500 prizes from $100 to $10,000. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-3.57.

The Florida Lottery announces that Adam Janowski, 67, of Fort Myers, claimed a $1 million prize in the new FLORIDA 100X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $770,000.00.

An avid Florida Lottery player, Janowski was still surprised when he saw that he won. “I thought I was going to have a heart attack! I couldn’t believe it!”

The Florida Lottery announces that Hortense McCarthy, 67, of Tamarac, claimed a $2 million top prize in the $2,000,000 GOLD RUSH DOUBLER Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,600,000.00.

McCarthy usually purchases her tickets from a clerk, but decided to try the vending machine this time. “I bought two just in case. I couldn’t believe it when the second one turned out to be a winner!”

McCarthy purchased her winning ticket from Publix, located at 8140 West Mcnab Road in North Lauderdale. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
