America First Action announced today that Kimberly Guilfoyle, co-host of Fox News Channel’s The Five, has joined its team as Vice Chairwoman. America First Action is the primary super PAC dedicated to electing federal candidates who support the agenda of the Trump-Pence administration.
“America First is delighted to welcome Kimberly to the team,” said Thomas Hicks, Jr., Chairman of the Board of America First Action. “It’s an honor to have such a talented woman and one of the most highly sought-after television personalities in the country help us achieve our objective—helping the President Make America Great Again.”
“Throughout my career as a prosecutor and journalist, I’ve seen a lot and shared many stories of tragedy, triumph, and everything in between—but never have I experienced anything quite like the energy the America First movement brings,” said Ms. Guilfoyle. “I am grateful for this new and exciting opportunity to connect with the millions of grassroots supporters who believe in this administration.”
As Vice Chairwoman, Ms. Guilfoyle will assist the board and staff of America First with fundraising, media appearances, and grassroots outreach.
A California native and former first lady of San Francisco, Ms. Guilfoyle worked as an assistant district attorney at the San Francisco and Los Angeles District Attorney’s Offices, where she prosecuted domestic violence, child abuse, murder, and drug cases for nearly a decade.
Ms. Guilfoyle then moved to New York City in 2004 to pursue a career in television. She was the host of the program Both Sides on Court TV and a legal analyst for ABC News and CNN. She has covered a number of legal cases that garnered national attention, including those involving O.J. Simpson, JonBenét Ramsey, Natalee Holloway, and Michael Jackson. Ms. Guilfoyle began working at Fox News Channel in 2006 as a legal analyst, and in 2011, she joined the network’s lively weeknight panel ensemble, The Five.
Once considered by the Trump administration for the role of White House Communications Director, Ms. Guilfoyle authored a book in 2015, Making the Case: How to Be Your Own Best Advocate. She is the recipient of multiple awards, including “Outstanding Woman of the Year” from the City of San Francisco, “USO Entertainer of the Year,” and the “Latino Star Award.” Ms. Guilfoyle serves on the board of the Esophageal Cancer Education Foundation and the Children’s Council of the New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
