As part of the national Rail Safety Week, your local Florida Department of Transportation office asks you to “Be Rail Smart” to help reduce the number of rail crossing incidents and fatalities.
National Rail Safety Week runs from Sept. 18-22. During this time and for the rest of the month of September, you’ll see us distributing rail safety information at Tri-Rail stations and going door-to-door to educate the public about rail safety.
