FDLE agents arrest Kissimmee man on 10 counts child pornography possession
FDLE agents today arrested Mario Ortega, 38, of 106 Poinciana Circle, Kissimmee on 10 counts of child pornography possession.
In March, agents received a tip that video suspected of depicting child pornography had been uploaded to a website. Investigators determined the video was uploaded from a computer associated with Ortega. A search warrant was obtained. During an on-scene examination of digital devices, agents found evidence of child pornography. The devices were seized for further analysis.
Ortega was taken to the Osceola County Jail on a $50,000 bond. The State Attorney’s Office, 9th Judicial Circuit, will prosecute the case.

Governor Ron DeSantis Highlights First 100 Days in Office
Governor Ron DeSantis today released a video highlighting his administration’s first 100 days in office. Today also marked the 100th public event the Governor has held since taking office.
“During my Inaugural Address, I agreed with Hamilton that, ‘Energy in the executive is the leading character in the definition of good government,’” said Governor DeSantis. “That’s why I’ve held 100 public events during my first 100 days in office. I will continue working with the Legislature and Floridians should know I will do whatever it takes to achieve our goals. Let’s fight the good fight and keep up the hard work.”
