UNF’s LGBT Resource Center Awarded LGBTQ Community Fund Grant

The University of North Florida’s LGBT Resource Center has received a $30,000 grant from the LGBTQ Community Fund for Northeast Florida. The Fund recently awarded a total of $130,000 in grants to numerous local agencies that serve the LGBTQ community and focus on making Jacksonville more inclusive. See Conservation Rocks at PSC Energy Awareness Month Event

DeSoto Trail Elementary School fourth graders will make Conservation Rock tomorrow at the Florida Public Service Commission’s (PSC) Energy Awareness Month event.

PSC Executive Director Braulio Baez will share energy conservation tips with students, who will then paint conservation rocks to be placed throughout Tallahassee and Florida. The students’ art and conservation messages will rock Florida on Twitter and Facebook!

The Conservation Rocks event is scheduled for the following time and location:

Tuesday, October 16, 2018
9:30 a.m.
DeSoto Trail Elementary School
Cafeteria

Tallahassee, FL 32309
