Gov. Rick Scott Presents Wix with Business Ambassador Award for Creating 100 Florida Jobs
As part of his ongoing trade mission in Israel, Governor Rick Scott yesterday presented Wix, a website-building platform headquartered in Israel, with a Governor’s Business Ambassador Award for creating 100 jobs since opening their first Florida location in Miami in 2014.
Governor Scott said, “I was proud to present Wix with a Governor’s Business Ambassador Award today in recognition of their work to create 100 new jobs. While this global company could have chosen to invest in any state, they ultimately chose Florida to grow and create new opportunities for our families. We must continue to market our state across the world and I look forward to continuing to share this message with Israeli business leaders during our trade mission this week.”

Gov. Scott Recognizes Small Business Lucky Goat Coffee with Business Ambassador Award
During a meeting of the Florida Cabinet today, Governor Rick Scott recognized Lucky Goat Coffee with the Governor’s Business Ambassador Award. Lucky Goat Coffee is a specialty premium coffee roaster. The small business is located in Tallahassee and was founded in 2010.
Governor Scott said, “I’m proud to present Lucky Goat Coffee with the Business Ambassador Award today. By cutting taxes and reducing burdensome regulations, business like Lucky Goat Coffee have been able to grow and succeed in Florida. Gov. Scott Awards Small Business Gulf Coast Angler Charters with Business Ambassador Award
During a meeting of the Florida Cabinet today, Governor Rick Scott recognized Gulf Coast Angler Charters with the Governor’s Business Ambassador Award. Gulf Coast Angler Charters is a charter fishing business located in Cape Coral. The small business is owned and operated by Captain Johnny O’Hearon and his wife Julie O’Hearon and was founded in March of 2016.

Nic’s Toggery is a Tallahassee-based menswear specialty store established by Nic Gavalas in 1950. The family business now has three locations in Tallahassee and has 15 employees.

Chained Concepts Bike Shop in Crestview specializes in cycling training, fitting and equipment. Owner and veteran, Miguel Davila opened Chained Concepts opened in 2014.
