Road Closure Scheduled for Sergeant Graham Drive in St. Cloud

Beginning around 9 a.m. Monday, May 14, Sergeant Graham Drive at State Road (S.R.) 500/U.S. 192 in St. Cloud will be closed for approximately six weeks.

U.S. 192 traffic needing to access Sergeant Graham Drive will be directed to take Old Canoe Creek Road to Neptune Road (see attached map).

Electronic message boards have been installed to inform motorists about the road closure, and detour signs will guide traffic.

The work is part of a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) project to widen S.R. 500 (U.S. 192) from Aeronautical Drive to Budinger Avenue.

Please note the work schedule may change due to weather or other unexpected conditions. Project updates will be posted to the FDOT’s Central Florida website, cflroads.com.

Road Closure and Detour Scheduled for Bluford Avenue in Orange County

South Bluford Avenue at State Road (S.R.) 50/West Colonial Drive will be closed from 7 a.m. Friday, May 5, to 7 a.m. Monday, May 8.
Motorists on S.R. 50 needing to access South Bluford Avenue will be directed to use Maguire Road as a detour (see map).
The contractor, The Lane Construction Corporation, will beperforming a pipe crossing. Electronic message boards have beeninstalled to inform motorists about the road closure, and detour signs will direct traffic.
The work is part of a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) project to widen S.R 50 (Colonial Drive) from four lanes to six lanes from S.R. 429 to just east of the West Oaks Mall. Please note construction schedules may change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

SunRail Railroad Crossing Work and Road Closure on S.R. 436 Altamonte Springs

State Road (S.R.) 436/East Altamonte Drive is closing in both directions at the railroad crossing east of South Ronald Reagan Boulevard from 9 p.m. Friday, March 31 to 3 a.m. Monday, April 3. The closure is needed to replace the existing SunRail crossing with new concrete panels and asphalt approaches, which will provide a safer and smoother crossing for motorists.
Detour route signage is placed at key locations in the area to direct drivers around the work zone. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained.
Detour Information:

  • Westbound S.R. 436 traffic will be directed to turn right onto U.S. 17/92 northbound, then left onto Dog Track Road and left onto South Ronald Regan Boulevard to go back to S.R. 436. Local traffic will be permitted to continue west on S.R. 436 to point of the closure.
  • Eastbound traffic on S.R. 436 will be directed to turn left onto South Ronald

Reagan Boulevard, right onto Dog Track Road and then right onto U.S. 17/92 southbound to go back to S.R. 436.
