Governor Scott Recognizes Jon Bucci with Young Entrepreneur Award

During a meeting of the Florida Cabinet today, Governor Rick Scott recognized Jon Bucci, 23, with the Governor’s Young Entrepreneur Award. Bucci is the founder and CEO of Apex Property Restoration, a carpentry, repair, and assembly service company operating in Southwest Florida. Apex Property Restoration was founded in 2012 and currently employs 13 Floridians. Bucci is also co-founder of Inari Industries, a technology startup company and soon to be opening Bucci studios, a health and day spa.
Governor Scott said, “I’m proud to present Jon with the Young Entrepreneur Award today. It’s great to see a young entrepreneur follow his dream of building a business here in Florida. His determination and hard work will continue to lead him and his business to future success.”
Founder and CEO of Apex Property Restoration Jon Bucci said, “I’m honored to be recognized by Governor Scott with the Young Entrepreneur Award today. Gov. Scott Recognizes Sunny Ilyas with Young Entrepreneur Award

During a meeting of the Florida Cabinet today, Governor Rick Scott recognized Sunny Ilyas, 26, with the Governor’s Young Entrepreneur Award. Sunny is the Founder and CEO of Vale Food Co., a fast, healthy restaurant that also offers meal plan delivery. Vale Food Co. was founded in August of 2014 and has locations in Tallahassee and Gainesville with Tampa opening this Fall.
Governor Scott said, “I’m proud to recognize Sunny with the Young Entrepreneur Award today. The growth Vale Food Co. has accomplished in just three years is a true Florida success story. Sunny’s continued hard work and dedication will help ensure his business has many more years of growth in our state.”

Gov. Scott Recognizes Erin Winick with the Young Entrepreneur Award

During a meeting of the Florida Cabinet today, Governor Rick Scott recognized Erin Winick, 23, with the Young Entrepreneur Award. Erin is the founder and CEO of Sci Chic, a company that designs and produces 3D printed jewelry and accessories inspired by science and engineering. Sci Chic was founded in October of 2015 and is based in Gainesville.
Governor Scott said, “I’m proud to present Erin with the Young Entrepreneur Award today. It’s great to see Florida entrepreneurs follow their dreams of starting a business while inspiring others to get involved with STEM. It takes dedication and hard work to start a business and I look forward to seeing Sci Chic’s success in Florida.”

During a meeting of the Florida Cabinet today, Governor Rick Scott recognized Andres Cardona, 23, with the Young Entrepreneur Award. Andres is the founder and CEO of Elite Basketball Academy, a youth basketball program. Elite Basketball Academy was founded in 2011 and is based in Miami.

During a meeting of the Florida Cabinet today, Governor Rick Scott recognized Tyler Montgomery, 25, with the Young Entrepreneur Award. Tyler is the President of Mont Motorsports, an automotive company that fabricates, builds and sells aftermarket performance parts and vehicles. Mont Motorsports was founded in 2015 and is located in Panama City. 

Governor Rick Scott said, “I am proud to present the Young Entrepreneur Award to Tyler Montgomery for his accomplishments. At only 25, Tyler demonstrates the hard work and dedication needed to be a successful businesses owner and will undoubtedly create more opportunities in his community. We are fighting to make our state the best place in the nation for businesses so entrepreneurs like Tyler can continue to succeed in our state.”
