Heather Youmans Receives National Government Relations Professional of the Year Award for Excellence in Cancer Advocacy

American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) senior director, government relations Heather Youmans accepts the country’s top government relations professional award for her exceptional work advocating for cancer-fighting legislation at ACS CAN’s Leadership Summit and Lobby Day in Washington, D.C. earlier this month. The award was presented by (from left to right) ACS CAN Vice President of Regional Advocacy Paul Hall; American Cancer Society and ACS CAN CEO Gary Reedy; ACS CAN president Chris Hansen; and, ACS CAN strategic director of advocacy organizational development and training Jeff Martin.
