FDLE arrests Palm Bay woman for falsely accusing law enforcement officer

FDLE agents today arrested Maria Liduvina Reyes, 44, of 1413 Gray Street SE in Palm Bay, for falsely reporting that she had been sexually assaulted by a law enforcement officer. Reyes faces two charges: false reports to law enforcement authorities and falsely accusing a law enforcement officer. Regarding Florida Supreme Court Upholding Amendment 6 on the General Election Ballot

“We appreciate the Florida Supreme Court’s expeditious review of the previous ruling on Amendment 6 and are incredibly pleased their opinion affirms the amendment’s current ballot language is fair and accurate. Their decision to uphold Amendment 6 on the General Election ballot justly provides Florida voters with the opportunity to decide if they believe our state constitution should provide victims of crime with rights and protections equal to those already afforded the accused and convicted.”

SunRail Test Trains on the Corridor This Weekend

Unique Train Configuration for Positive Train Control (PTC) Data Gathering

Drivers and passersby can expect to see SunRail train activity this weekend on the railroad tracks between Sanford and Longwood. SunRail is performing testing related to the implementation of Positive Train Control (PTC). This is occurring over a 13-mile section. Testing could occur on either track and is scheduled Saturday, September 8 and Sunday, September 9. The testing time lasts from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.
