To date, Senator Garcia has successfully secured 6 million
dollars in State funding toward the completion of The Underline.

On Wednesday, July 20th, 2022 State Senator Ileana Garcia, who fought to secure 3 million dollars in state appropriations this past legislative session, will be joined by The Department of Transportation & Public Works, the Parks, Recreation & Open Spaces Department with Friends of The Underline for the check presentation. Indian River man, Brevard woman arrested for human trafficking, use of child in sexual performance

FDLE and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office arrested Marc Phillips Dinkels, 33, of Vero Beach, on two counts of human trafficking and one count each of lewd and lascivious battery, use of a child in sexual performance, unlawful sexual activity with certain minors, unlawful use of a two-way communication device to facilitate the commission of a felony and battery.
