CFO and State Fire Marshal Jimmy Patronis: Law Enforcement Animals Protect Us, We Must Protect Them
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and State Fire Marshal Jimmy Patronis testified today in front of the Florida Senate Judiciary Committee in support of Senate Bill 96, an effort to protect police, fire, search and rescue dogs, and police horses.
CFO and State Fire Marshal Jimmy Patronis said, “I was proud today to stand in front of the Florida Senate Judiciary Committee with a critical member of our law enforcement team, Ginger, an Accelerant Detection K9. Ginger works on the front lines helping my fraud detectives apprehend arsonists in Florida. I fully support Senate Bill 96 and thank Senator Bean for his efforts to protect these highly-trained law enforcement animals.”
