Governor Rick Scott today announced the five reappointments and six appointments to the Florida Interagency Coordinating Council for Infants and Toddlers.
Dr. Sara Evans, 35, of Pensacola, is an assistant professor at the University of West Florida. She is reappointed for a term beginning June 5, 2018, and ending January 1, 2020.
Cheryl Miller, 40, of Sarasota, is a therapist with Manatee Children’s Services. She succeeds Arwyn Holmes and is appointed for a term beginning June 5, 2018, and ending January 1, 2020.

Gov. Scott Appoints Two to Florida Southwestern State College District Board of Trustees
Governor Rick Scott today announced the appointments of Julia du Plooy and Jonathan Martin to the Florida Southwestern State College District Board of Trustees.
du Plooy, 34, of Clewiston, is an independent contractor and owner of Julia du Plooy, LLC, and serves as the president of the Lake Okeechobee Business Alliance. She received her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. du Plooy succeeds Tristan Chapman and is appointed for a term beginning February 28, 2018 and ending May 31, 2020.
Martin, 36, of Fort Myers, is an attorney with Parvey & Frankel Attorneys, P.A. He received is bachelor’s degree from Stetson University and his juris doctorate degree from Liberty University School of Law. Martin succeeds Brian Chapman and is appointed for a term beginning February 28, 2018 and ending May 31, 2018.
These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
Gov. Scott Appoints Christian Cunningham to Southwestern State College District Board of Trustees
Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Christian Cunningham to the Florida Southwestern State College District Board of Trustees.
Cunningham, 56, of Naples, is the chief human resources officer for Herc Rentals. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. Cunningham succeeds Christopher Vernon, and is appointed for a term beginning January 30, 2018, and ending May 31, 2021.
The appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.

Governor Rick Scott today announced two reappointments to the District Board of Trustees of Daytona State College.
Bob Davis, 80, of Port Orange, is the President of the Halifax Lodging & Hospitality Association. He previously served as the chairman of the Civil Service Board for the city of Daytona Beach Shores. Davis is reappointed for a term beginning October 11, 2017, and ending on May 31, 2021.
Mary Ann Haas, 65, of Flagler Beach, is a retired district curriculum director of the Flagler County School District. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Central Florida and is reappointed for a term beginning October 11, 2017, and ending May 31, 2021.

Governor Rick Scott today announced the reappointment of Michael Vallencourt to the Clay County Utility Authority.
Vallencourt, 58, of Orange Park, is the chairman of the board for Vallencourt Construction Co. Inc. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama. Vallencourt is reappointed for a term beginning July 14, 2017, and ending September 30, 2019.
Governor Scott Appoints One to Florida Housing Finance Corporation
Governor Rick Scott today announced the appointment of Creston Leifried to the Florida Housing Finance Corporation.
Leifried, 36, of Chuluota, is the vice president of Coastal Reconstruction Group, Inc. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning July 14, 2017, and ending November 13, 2018.
This appointment is subject to Senate confirmation.

Gibson, 33, of Tallahassee, is an attorney at Benjamin J. Gibson, P.A., and previously served as the Deputy General Counsel in the Executive Office of the Governor. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and his law degree from Florida State University. Gibson succeeds John Padget and is appointed for a term beginning July 14, 2017, and ending December 31, 2020.

Cole, 42, of Belleair, is an attorney with Hill Ward Henderson, PA. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and her law degree from Stetson University. Cole is reappointed for a term beginning July 14, 2017, and ending May 31, 2021.
