the Palm Beach County Delegation Next Year

Matt Spritz announced today that Republican State Representative Rick Roth has endorsed his campaign for the State House. Notably, Roth is one of only two non-term limited Republican State Representatives from Palm Beach County currently serving in the Florida House.

“I proudly endorse Matt Spritz for State Representative,” said Roth. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Matt in Tallahassee for some time, and I’ve seen firsthand his dedication to our community and his tireless work ethic. Representative Rick Roth is a native of Palm Beach County, a husband, father and grandfather, a 3rd generation farmer, and a 32-year small business owner. He is currently serving his first term in the Florida House, as the Representative from District 85, which includes large portions of northern Palm Beach County.

Born and raised in South Florida, Matt Spritz graduated Phi Beta Kappa with high honors from Emory University and from New York University School of Law in New York. He practiced corporate and business law in New York and later in South Florida before committing himself to public service in the Florida House.

House District 89 covers coastal portions of Palm Beach County spanning from Singer Island to Boca Raton, which has the largest concentration of voters. Thirty-six percent of registered voters in the district are Republicans, while Democrats make up 33 percent, and voters with minor or no party affiliation, 31 percent.

Bill Diamond is the Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Realty. He also served as a Councilman for the Town of Palm Beach from 2009–2015. Prior to that, he served as Commissioner for the New York City Department of Citywide Services under Mayor Rudy Giuliani, from 1994–2001.

Matt Spritz announced today that Florida’s former United States Senator, Republican George LeMieux, has endorsed his campaign for State House.

He’s not afraid to take on tough issues and understands that pro-business policies are absolutely critical to create more jobs for hard working Florida families.”

Senator Ellyn Bogdanoff was first elected to represent Palm Beach and Broward Counties in the Florida House of Representatives in 2004. She served for six years in the House, including as the Majority Whip under Speaker Marco Rubio, in charge of all public policy that flowed through the Chamber. She was subsequently elected to the Florida Senate in 2010, where she served as Chair of the Senate Finance and Tax Committee, the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee and the Criminal and Civil Justice Appropriations Committee. As a legislator she was best known for engaging in and negotiating a variety of complex policy issues.

Representative Randy Fine Endorses Spritz

Support for Matt Spritz’s bid for House District 89 continues to grow as Fine is
the latest in a series of House Republicans to throw their support behind him.

The Matt Spritz Campaign today announced the endorsement of State Representative Randy Fine, who represents District 53 in the Florida House of Representatives. Fine is the latest of a growing number of House Republicans backing Spritz’s bid for the District 89 seat.
“Matt Spritz has the energy and the conservative convictions to really make a difference in the legislature,” said Fine. “Matt understands the impact that state government has on people’s lives, and I look forward to having him in Tallahassee to work with him on policies that will reduce taxes and make it easier for Florida’s families to get ahead.”
A highly successful businessman, Fine was elected to the Florida House last year. He is the Vice Chair of the Careers and Competition Subcommittee, a member of the Commerce Committee, and the Vice Chair of the Brevard Legislative Delegation. He also serves on the Joint Legislative Auditing Committee, the Natural Resources and Public Lands Subcommittee, and the Transportation and Tourism Appropriations Subcommittee.
Notably, Fine is the only Jewish Republican currently serving in Florida’s legislature. If elected, Spritz would become the second.

The Matt Spritz Campaign today announced endorsements from three members of the Florida House of Representatives: Representatives Byron Donalds, Alex Miller, and Bob Rommel. Spritz is running for the District 89 seat, currently held by Bill Hager, who faces term limits in 2018.
“There’s no doubt Matt will be an outstanding legislator,” said Rommel. “As a former legislative aide, he has never shied away from hard work. He’s extremely dedicated to serving the public.”
“Matt is a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the complex issues we are tackling in Tallahassee,” said Miller. “He has the right vision for how to move Florida forward.”
“Matt Spritz is a principled conservative,” said Donalds. “I very much look forward to serving with him in Tallahassee.”
Rommel and Donalds both represent Naples in the Florida House while Miller’s district includes part of Sarasota. All are Republicans and were elected in 2016.

Matt Spritz announced today that he has filed to become a candidate for the Florida House of Representatives in District 89. Spritz, a conservative Republican who resides in Boca Raton, is an attorney and recently served as a legislative aide in the Florida House of Representatives. The seat is currently held by Representative Bill Hager, who will not be seeking reelection in 2018 due to term limits.
“Bill Hager has been an outstanding representative for our community,” said Spritz. “I want to build upon his hard work and continue to keep our area safe, our beaches healthy, and our taxes low.
