Gov. Scott: Disaster Relief Employment Available to Floridians Impacted by Hurricane Michael

Governor Rick Scott announced that Florida has been awarded federal National Dislocated Worker Grants to provide temporary employment to Floridians affected by Hurricane Michael. The federal National Dislocated Worker Grant, administered by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), provides disaster relief employment in the form of temporary jobs that support storm response and recovery efforts. Combined jackpots reach nearly $1 billion this week

Current multi-state Jackpot series has generated $48 million for education

Players have a chance to win big this week as America’s dueling jackpots, MEGA MILLIONS® and POWERBALL®, continue to climb, reaching a combined total of $999 million. On Friday, the MEGA MILLIONS jackpot rolled to $654 million; the POWERBALL jackpot rolled to $345 million after Saturday night’s draw.
